Join us for a day of flute events with clinicians Virginia Broffitt Kunzer, Elizabeth Haynes, Nancy Vinson, and Darcie Fleming. Activities include clinics covering the Alabama & Georgia All-State music, a flute care clinic, and Honor Flute Choir rehearsals and concert. Please check this page regularly for updates and changes.
For Honor Flute Choir part assignment purposes, it’s encouraged for students to send a recording prior to the registration deadline (October 18th). All are welcome to participate, but priority parts will be given to those who submit recordings. Recordings may be either audio or video (the camera or voice recorder on your phone will work just fine) and sent to VBK@auburn.edu prior to the registration deadline. The recording should include:
1) a chromatic scale from the lowest note to the highest note in your range,
2) an F major scale,
3) an additional 2 minutes of solo playing (music of…
